Paul Spierings and navigator Jan Pieter van der Stelt have completed the first week of the Dakar Rally. It was a week of excitement and adventure for the team. The BuggyONE is in perfect condition, equipped with ERA, Optimal and MPM products.
After three editions on the motorcycle, this is the first time Spierings will start with the buggy. It was a tough stage where the team had to face sand, stones and difficult points of navigation. Team Spierings did very well in the second stage and managed to finish seventeenth. They were also able to establish a good position in the third stage. The BuggyONE drives fantastic and there were no problems. A top performance for the team!

In addition, team Spierings is the second best Dutch team in their SSV category. In the fifth stage the team managed to finish in 22nd place, which put them in 21st place in the general classification.
Finally, the sixth stage of the Dakar Rally was the most successful for team Spierings so far. The team managed to finish in thirteenth place and has thus moved up to nineteenth place in the overall standings.
